You can now allow end-users to personalize visualizations in Power BI Service! This is amazing. Report consumers will be able to change the way visuals are displayed in a personalized view that can be saved with a personal bookmark. This takes a lot of the responsibility off of the report developer.

All you need to do in order to enable this feature is activate the “Personalize visuals” option in the Preview Features (this feature is in preview as of writing this post… In the future, this step will be unnecessary). Then you need to enable the personalized visuals in the Report settings, as shown below:

Now you simply need to publish your report up to Power BI Service and the end-user will have a nice option in the visual header allowing them to personalize the visual! See the gif below.
